How do I send checkout recovery messages through Whatsy?

Whatsy’s Cart Recovery module fetches abandoned checkouts from Shopify, allowing you to manually send WhatsApp recovery messages to customers who provided a phone number.

1. Open Cart Recovery in Whatsy to view your abandoned checkouts.
2. Click Edit message to personalize your message. You can include the customer’s first name, store name, cart summary, cart total, and recovery link. Click Save when finished.
3. Click Send message beside the checkout to contact the customer through WhatsApp.

The recovery link lets the customer return to their checkout and complete their purchase. The dashboard displays each checkout’s recovery status and reminder timing. Use the Cart status filter to view checkouts marked as Abandoned, Recovering, or Recovered.

Please note: A customer phone number is required to send a WhatsApp recovery message.
