How to set up the Stock Countdown widget for my store's product pages?

The TimexBar **app helps create a sense of urgency for your customers, enabling you to sell your products faster. One of its key features is the **Stock Countdown, which allows you to display a countdown for products that are in high demand. This effectively creates FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), encouraging customers to make quick purchasing decisions.

To set up the Stock Countdown Timer widget for your store:

1. Go to your Shopify store and open the **TimexBar **app.
2. Locate the Stock Countdown Timer widget and click on it. This will take you to the Content & Settings page.

1. Write a custom message to display alongside the countdown.

**Tip: **Create a sense of urgency to excite your customers! For example, use phrases like "Hurry! Limited-time offer!" to encourage quick action and boost engagement.

1. Explore additional configurations, such as the stock bar style, color theme, font style, and font size.

1. Go to the “All Products” section and select the products you want to promote with the countdown timer.

1. Click “Save”, and the countdown will automatically appear on the product pages of your store.

How to customize the** Stock Countdown **text and style to match my brand?

The Stock Countdown widget allows you to customize the text and style to match your brand.

In the “Styles” section, you can choose between different bar styles, such as “Flat” or “Capsule.”

1. The “Text Formatting” section lets you select the font family, font style, and text color.

1. Finally, the “Bar Formatting” section allows you to adjust the bar colors to align with your brand’s color scheme.

How to update stock levels dynamically for the Stock Countdown?

To update the stock levels for Stock Countdown, you need to update your Shopify store.

The number of stock for each product will be automatically calculated and fetched to the stock countdown and will appear at the store front accordingly. 

**Tip: **We suggest you keep the stock lower than 30 in order to create urgency of low stock and FOMO (fear of missing out) technique. Lower the stock better the results!
